Geelong has a new treatment available to them called Salt Therapy!

That’s thanks to the opening of Salts of the Earth down the river end of Pakington Street Newtown next to Hahndorf Chocolates. We had the pleasure of watching the progress of their shop fit-out as they took a pretty boring blank canvas from an empty shopfront into a professional clinic with many points of interest.

They chose Leen’s Building Supplies as their supplier of building materials and as such they were able to assemble a number of treatment rooms from timber, plaster and miscellaneous hardware.

If you’re wondering what salt therapy actually is, it’s a treatment that’s also known as Halotherapy, a medically proven natural and non-invasive therapy that helps relieve congestion, inflammation and allergies of the airways and skin.

Salt therapy relieves the symptoms of the sufferer’s condition by cleansing the airways and skin and works in conjunction with the sufferers prescribed medication. By relieving the symptoms of a condition, medication will also become more effective resulting in better management and stronger relief of the condition.
