Part 3: All bottled up

This is the third in a multi-part series covering perhaps the best example we’ve seen of DIY creativity on a single property. Read part one about hand-made Garden Beds here, and part two about the creek-bed and deck.

Watch any DIY show on TV at the moment and you’re definitely going to hear about ‘pops of colour’. Bright blues and greens are hot right now.

Brightening up an outdoor entertainment area can easily be done using bright paint but have you ever considered using old bottles instead?

Russell Feldmann did! Somehow he managed to source old glass bottles in just about every shade of the rainbow and created 3 stunning recycled bottle walls that shower his outdoor entertainment area in bright pops of coloured sunlight while protecting the space from wind and rain.

Another incredible piece of DIY work from Mr. Feldman. Well done Sir.

Russell Feldman has literally covered his Torquay property with showpieces that have been hand-made from new and secondhand materials. Many pieces have come from our yard however a lot have also been sourced from country trips and bits and pieces that were being thrown out by friends and family.
